Top Ten Tuesday: Summer Reading

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

Summer Reading!

This week, I will be sharing ten books I KNOW I will be reading this summer. I selected from my YA review books, and therefore, the publication dates pretty much decided what I would read (to some degree).
  • Early Departures by Justin A. Reynolds - Reynolds' debut, Opposite of Always, is one of my favorites! For me, it was flawless, and I cannot wait to see what he has in store for me with his follow up.
  • The Knockout by Sajni Patel - Everyone knows how much I love sports themed books, and here we have a young woman competing in Muay Thai. Sign me up!
  • Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston - This series is one of my favorites! Both Geekerella and The Princess and The Fangirl were both so wonderful, and now we are getting a B&B retelling. I don't know about you, but I cannot wait to return to ExcelsiCon.
  • Charming as a Verb by Ben Philippe - Since reading Philippe's debut, The Field Guide to the North American Teenager, I have been eagerly awaiting his followup. He knows how to make me laugh, I that's something I just can't get enough of.
  • More Than Just a Pretty Face by Syed M. Masood - A debut, which promises to be a rom-com. If it lives up to its synopsis, this is sure to be a hit for me.
  • Smash It! by Francia Simone - Simone is a new-to-me-author, but I love everything I read in the synopsis, and I am really eager to see Liv smash junior year.
  • Furia by Yamile Saied Mendez - I read the synopsis, and got this Bend it Like Beckham vibe, and that movie owns me. I also like that the book is set in Argentina, and I am looking forward to "visiting" there.
  • Wayward Witch by Zoraida Córdova - This is how it ends! I loved both Labyrinth Lost and Bruja Born, and am eager to see how Córdova wraps up this trilogy.
  • Six Angry Girls by Adrienne Kisner - I featured this book on CWW, because it just screams Grrrl power to me, and also, I think the mock trial parts will be really interesting.
  • Recommended for You by Laura Silverman - I adored both of Silverman's books (Girl Out of Water, You Asked for Perfect), and when I heard she was writing a rom-com, I knew I had to get my hands on it.

What's on your summer TBR?
