Top Ten Tuesday - Formal Titles

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

Formal Titles!

Happy Tuesday! This is an interesting prompt. We are looking for books with honorifics in the title. I thought this would be tough, but it was easier than I thought.

  1. Mrs. Quinn's Rise to Fame by Olivia Ford
  2. Writing Mr. Wrong by Kelley Armstrong
  3. To Sir, With Love by Lauren Layne
  4. The Housekeeper and the Professor by Yoko Ogawa
  5. King by Sawyer Bennett
  1. Prince in Disguise by Stephanie Kate Strohm
  2. The Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston
  3. Lord of the Flies by William Golding
  4. My Lady Jane by Hand, Ashton, Meadows
  5. Duke, Actually by Jenny Holiday

Have you read any "formally" titled books?

  1. I thought this topic would be hard, but now that I'm seeing your list, I probably could have made an entire Top Ten with Prince in the title, LOL!

  2. Your second title reminds me of a fav read, The Wrong Lady Meets Lord Right by Suzanne Allain! ~Carol @ ReadingLadies

  3. I saw Lord of the Flies on a couple of lists this week. I never thought of that one. Nice list, Sam. Yes, we have one in common.

    1. That was the first book that came to mind when I saw the prompt which is amazing considering I read it in the 80s.

  4. I enjoyed doing this prompt, even though it was a little more challenging for me than I thought it would be. You did great with it. I love the Lady Jane/Mary series. It's so fun!

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
