Sundays with Sam - The Sunday Post

Sundays with Sam is a combination of Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

My Week in Review

Another week down! Considering I don't really do anything, it feels like the days are passing quickly. I went to Target yesterday and couldn't help the giggles that escaped me when I saw the back to school displays. I tend to appreciate optimism, but that's some over the top wishful thinking there.

I captured this moment a while back but forgot to post it. I was so excited when it happened. It's the little things.

Once again, someone in the Animal Crossing world has blown me away. This is so well done, and I tip my hat to them.

I have totally had days like this.
Too cute!

Let's Discuss!

STACKING THE SHELVES

I have been wanting to read The Year After You. I featured it as one of my CWWs back in the beginning of the year, and Amazon did that thing, where they send me $5 off, so I bought it. I find it hard to resist a bargain.

Edelweiss/NetGalley

It was a great week in the eGalley world for me. I was really excited to get The Insomniacs, which was another of my CWW picks. It seems my "wishes" to the universe are being rewarded.

What I Read Last Week

It was a good reading week. I loved almost every book, and even the ones I didn't LOVE, I still liked very much. I was really happy about Boyfriend Material, because I had originally set it aside when I was reading the ebook, but ended up loving the audio. I thought it was going to be 4.5 - 5 stars, but I felt the ending was a bit abrupt. Other than that, it was fantastic.
