Five Star Friday: September 2020

On the first Friday of each month, I will share my five-star reads from the previous month. Fingers crossed, I have lots of books to tell you about.

People! September was another fantastic reading month! It ended a bit shaky, but I am still ecstatic about how it went in general. I read 38 books, 9 of which earned 5-stars. Not too shabby!

Top Ten Tuesday: Highly Rated

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

Highly Rated!

Once again, I am going off topic. This is something I have been seeing around the blogosphere, and I have been wanting to do for quite a while.

I went to my YA read-shelf, and looked at books with the highest average ratings (for books with over 500 reviews). I was curious as to how my rating compared to the average, and this is what I found.

Five Star Friday: March 2020

On the first Friday of each month, I will share my five-star reads from the previous month. Fingers crossed, I have lots of books to tell you about.

I don't know what to say about March. It was quite a month, that's for sure. I was able to finish 38 books with a whopping 5 getting the full five-star treatment. Three dealt with mental health issues, while the other two took on grief, and four were OwnVoices, which is a point of view I really appreciate.

Top Ten Tuesday: Spring TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

Spring TBR!

I am a HUGE fan of spring. It's a season of renewal and more moderate temperatures. It's also a season of a BILLION book releases. Seriously, look at the number of books coming out between March and June. I could never read them all, but I still want to. I have a pretty packed list of review books for those months, and I am very excited about many of them.
