#Top10of2018: OTPs - Favorite Couples

OTPs - FAVORITE COUPLES

I read a ton of romance books, and because of that, I was shipping a LOT of couples. Again, like every day this week, there were so many to choose from, but there was something special about these ten, that made me want to include them on this list.

Did you have any favorite OTPs this year?

  1. I didn't do a list, but if I had Stella & Michaael, Zorie and Lennon, and Steffi and Rhys all would have made mine. Loved everything about those couples.

    1. So many good pairings in the books I read, since I read a ton of romance, but those three won my heart.

  2. Oh we share a bunch!!! I can't believe I forgot Macy and Elliot though. I am excited to see In Search of Us on there since I just ordered it. Great list!

    1. In Search of Us was a really, really good read for me. I was more emotionally involved in Marilyn's story, but I also appreciated the daughter's search for who she was.

  3. I so agree with you on Michael and Stella! Now I just ordered One Day in december because ...this was the last straw! LOL Sophie @bewareofthereader

    1. One Day in December was so, so frustrating and wonderful. Have you read Love, Rosie? It made me insane in the same sort of way was ODiD. The whole bad-timing-missed-opportunity thing, and just spending 10 years in their lives. I felt really invested.

  4. Yes to Zorie and Lennon, Stella and Michael, and Hazel and Josh! I really loved all of these pairings. I haven't given the topic much thought myself, but enjoy seeing what everyone else posts. A lot of these I still need to read!

    1. I feel like I usually ship the couple in any romance I am reading. If I'm not, the romance is not very well written, but these book not only had great couples, but the books really stuck with me.

  5. Ugh Macy and Elliot and Josh and Hazel were SO GOOD. Loved both of those books so much. I just finish Queen of Air and Darkness so I'll say Jules and Emma and basically every single other couple from that series lol

    1. CLo could do no wrong by me this year. I loved everything they put out. I have not finished QoAaD, but I was shipping Emma and June from the get-go

  6. I love that we share several in common. Michael and Stella were so perfect together. I love how well they complemented one another. And Macy and Elliot... oh, they were just precious! And Laurie and Jack - they waited so long for their HEA and I was cheering for them all the way!

    1. I love Michael and Stella, because they were an unlikely, but perfect match. He took the time to get to know and understand her needs, and he was able to see through her quirks.

  7. I still think it's funny if someone would have mentioned "shipping" to me prior to blogging I would have been clueless. :) Now I just take it for granted haha. Anyways I so want to read Starry Eyes.

    1. I remember asking my daughter to explain what shipping was all about. The older she gets, the more I lose my connect to the youth-speak.

  8. I really need to read Starry Eyes and Josh and Hazel. :)

  10. I really think the couple in A Quiet Kind of Thunder is adorable and I really love how supportive they are of each other. Truly adorable! I also really do think Marilyn and James were a sweet couple. I enjoyed their storyline much more than Angie and her love interest >.>

    1. Marilyn and James were why I loved In Search of Us. Their story was beautiful and tragic and it broke my heart and I wanted it all to be a lie. --sigh--

    1. All are contemporaries, but one. I am sort of a lonely contemporary reader most of the time.
