My Week in Review
Happy Sunday! The work week was short because of the holiday, but I had to do three days in a row in office which is always exhausting for me. I have to do it again next week since I am off Monday and Tuesday. Not excited about that.
I am coming to you from Chicago this week. I flew out Friday. My flight was delayed AFTER we boarded. We were stuck waiting for about an hour and half. They pad the time so much, we only ended up 7 minutes late after an hour delay. However, whenever I land at O'Hare, I always wonder if we even land in the state of Illinois. Seriously, it took over a half hour to get to the gate after we landed. It was a long trip, but I made it!
Yesterday, we went to the Hello Kitty Cafe for tea. It was fabulous! Everything was so cute. I had a great time. Then we checked out a few stores since we were on Mag Mile. My daughter is a lot like me and enjoys downtime, so we relaxed the rest of the day. Today, we are heading back downtown to see Dirty Dancing the Musical. I am pretty excited about it.

Read Last Week
This was a great week! I had TWO five-star reads. The first was a book I had been hearing so much about, I HAD to read it. This Story Might Save Your Life was excellent. It's a mystery about a podcaster who goes missing. I think it appealed to me because of the friendship between the two main characters. I was very invested in finding the missing person and getting to the bottom of everything.
I also LOVED Thank You for Remembering. This is an amnesia romance. I have had great success with this author in the past, and once again, she delivered a wonderful romance packed with humor, wit, and warmth.
