Feeling Thankful!
Happy Tuesday! With Thanksgiving approaching, families will gather and reflect on things they are grateful for. It has been a year of ups and downs, but I still have a mix of bookish and non-bookish things to give thanks for.
- With my father's health issues, every additional day is something to be grateful for. I know I am very fortunate to still have my parents around and to have had three of my grandparents into adulthood.
- I am grateful that my daughter still makes time to come see us, and that she likes to cook because we would not have the fantastic meal that we will be eating on Thursday without her.
- Cute animal videos have been a source of sunshine for me. I don't tend to get too twisted about them being AI as long as they make me laugh and smile.
- I am going to say it - my heated blanket. It keeps me cozy. It's keeping me cozy right this very minute.
- The recent rain was very welcomed by me. The pigeons have been ruthless in the parking deck, and that storm saved me $15.
- I am so thankful for all the fun and feel-good books I have read this year. They really helped me through my funks.
- I know I get sad when I am rejected for ARCs, but I am happy that I can still get approvals given how book blogs are not as popular as they used to be.
- I am glad to have this outlet to share my love of books.
- My library is a source of so much of my reading material. I say this all the time, but I would not be able to afford my reading habit without it.
- I am thankful for all the book bloggers who still visit. The list is dwindling, but I am happy for each one of you who visit.
What are you thankful for?
