Clara Davenport wants to solve Fraser Falls’s biggest problem. According to Jack Kelly, Clara is Fraser Falls’s biggest problem. All Clara Davenport has ever wanted to do is climb the ladder at Davenport Innovation Creative, her family’s toy business. Everything was going according to plan, until the company was accused of stealing a doll design from an independent toy maker, creating a flurry of bad publicity. With a promotion dangled in front of her like a carrot to a reindeer, Clara is tasked with charming the locals of the small town to solve the PR nightmare, by any means necessary.

Jack Kelly would be happy to never hear the name Davenport ever again. Less than a year after a guy in a fancy suit appeared on his doorstep with a sleigh-full of promises, the company that once falsely claimed they wanted to sign him to their small business program has copied his design. So when Clara prances into town hoping to convince Fraser Falls that her company is not the enemy, Jack is determined not to be fooled by Davenport twice.

But Clara has a plan to win over the community only to realize that beneath Jack’s frosty demeanor lies the key to the town’s heart—and maybe her own.

I want people to understand that I adore Hallmark movies. They warm my heart and make me happy. So, when I say this was like a Hallmark movie, I mean it a positive thing. The set-up: Clara, a fixer for the Davenport Group, travels to Fraser Falls to help mend some fences and get them to take down a less than flattering viral video. Jack feels Davenport has done enough damage to the small businesses in Fraser Falls and will not cooperate. Will Clara be able to win him over?

This was fun and sweet with so much holiday cheer. Clara and I both fell head-over-heels for Fraser Falls (as well as Elf the dog). This quaint little town was packed with some colorful and entertaining citizens, and I had such a wonderful time getting to know them and cheering them on as they spread the word about how special their town was.

Clara was a gem who was very undervalued. She came in with a true charm offensive and worked hard to get the townsfolk to trust her. It may have started as a way to repair her company's tarnished image, but Fraser Falls and its inhabitants worked their way into her heart. I loved all the relationships she built there as well as how Clara just fit. She belonged there, to them, and they belonged to her. It was all super sweet and feel-good, and gosh darn it! I was here for it.

How did I love this book? Let me list the ways:
  • An amazing town 🏡
  • Tons of holiday cheer 🎄
  • A winning romance 👩‍❤️‍👨
  • Sweet cupcake hero 🧁
  • A precious pup 🐶
  • A heroine with a heart of gold 💛
  • Snappy banter 🥸
  • A save-the-town plot to cheer for 📣
  • Focus on friendship 🥰
  • Found family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Look, I simply loved it! Holiday Ever After surpassed my expectations and left me with so much joy in my heart. I can see this becoming a series, and I will be first in line to return to Fraser Falls should Grace have more stories in store for us.

A “perfect” witch must learn to embrace imperfection and live for herself in this spellbinding cozy fantasy sprinkled with love, laughter, and magic, from the author of Rewitched.

Andromeda "Annie" Wildwood is the perfect witch. She is sugar, spice, and everything nice, each element of her life finely curated and polished to irresistibility by her nightly hex-laced potion routine. She loves to please and nothing makes her happier than when everyone else around her is completely happy.

When Annie’s coven tasks her with guiding an orphan teenage witch through the process of getting her blossoming magical powers under control, Annie is excited for the chance to please and to prove herself. But the ramshackle cabin they’ll be housed in isn’t quite the staycation of Annie’s dreams—and she and Maeve, the headstrong teen, couldn’t be more different.

Just when they’re starting to understand each other, the owner of the cabin unexpectedly returns—and this quietly gruff and handsome warlock is not pleased to find that the coven volunteered his house to a high-maintenance witch and her angsty teen companion.

As this seemingly unlikely trio develop a loyalty and fondness for one another, Annie slowly learns that her people-pleasing may have led her down an impossible, lonely path. If everything about her is so right—why does it all feel so wrong?

Annie always looked perfect, acted perfect, said the perfect thing, but her life as a perfect people pleaser was coming to an end and was being replaced by something so much more meaningful.

Absolutely adored this book! I think it may have been even cozier than the previous one, if that's possible. Wood really leaned into the found family element in the best way, and the story had wonderful messaging about friendship and perfectionism. I really loved Annie's personal journey, the unlikely friendship she formed with Maeve, and the sparks between her and Hal. A plethora of baked goods kept this one sweet along with all the animal antics. And, yeah, there was another nefarious plot for them to foil, too.

Overall, this was another stupendous trip to this world for me which left me so full of happiness and sunshine.
