Top Ten Tuesday: Last Ten Added

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

Last Ten Added!

I must confess. I am CONSTANTLY added books to my TBR. I get a little thrill every time I find a new book, that sounds pleasing to me, and I hope I can get a copy of it one way or another. My TBR is full of wishes, and here are my last ten. Some are being released soon, some are further off and don't even have covers, but all sound great to me.

What books have you recently added to your TBR?

  2. Ha I used to be the same Sam, my to read list was out of control, I got to the point where I had to go through my Goodreads list to remove books which I had added ages ago, now I only seem to add books from my go to authors or the occasional book that sounds amazing (but I think this weeks topic will definitely add all the books again!) Can you believe I don't have a single book that you mentioned on my list? I'm off to check what they're about! Thanks!

    1. I "cull" my TBR every now and then. Mostly to remove books that I have seen unfavorable buzz about or books that are not longer in the vein of what I am reading, but I like to keep those "wishes" out there for books I really hope to read someday.

    1. I admire your culling skills. I struggle with that. I tried to do that stay and go posting thing, and ended up keeping every book.

  10. I have one by Leddy Harper on my bookshelf that I’ve been meaning to read for ages (My Biggest Mistake). I met her at a book signing and her friend started telling me about the book and I was practically moved to tears just hearing her talk about it! I bought a copy then and there. Unfortunately that was 3+ years ago and I still haven’t read it. :(

  19. That's a nice mix of genres. I did a major clean out of my TBR but then I just added new ones. LOL Now, I don't worry about it. There will always be more books I want to read:)

  22. I looked at this week's TTT and I passed because a bunch of my recent adds didn't have covers yet and I didn't want to mess with trying to show the blank cover with title. Hope you get to your recent adds soon and love them! :)

  23. I always wonder when others talk about tbrs, do they mean books they own, or just books they want? Cuz mine is also full of wishes lol. I hope you get to read these!

    1. I used to add every eBook I downloaded or galley I got from cons, but then I gave up. So, mine is wishes. I know there are a lot more disciplined people out there, who only list the books they own, but then I would miss out on GR giveaway notifications.

  26. What lovely covers and a author in there but I am not sure who she is. I add lots to my TBR but can't read a lot right now. I hope you enjoy all of these. I wish I had the time to read as much. Just to be able to listen to all these great stories. Have a great week!
