Best of 2020: Stupendous Releases I Wish Got More Buzz

It's time to celebrate my year in books. I will be spreading my favorites throughout a bunch of categories, but these are all favorites. For more of my favorites, check out my Five Star Friday posts. Today I will be sharing.....

Stupendous 2020 Releases
I Wish Got More Buzz!

If you visit me on the regular, you know I read a lot. Because I read a lot, I tend to take some chances with my books. Yes, I do read quite a few of the B I G books, but I also reads those books, that are not getting all the buzz, yet they deserve it. The following are ten amazing books released this year, which I thought were really special, but have under 1000 ratings on Goodreads. I stuck primarily with YA books, though, I put one middle grades book on there, because I loved it so much.

What 2020 releases do you think people should know about?

  5. It is important to feature books that deserve praise and yet don't have quite the attention that the much hyped books get. I haven't read any on this list.

    1. I was pretty sad to see some of the review numbers. I hope people not using GR read them, because they were all really wonderful books.

  7. There's a few on the list I haven't heard of. A couple I wanted to read myself! And one that I had an ARC of, but couldn't get into so I did a trade on it. I love to hear about the ones that missed out on buzz! Especially the ones I wanted to read, War and Speech, and What I Like About Me. I did get that second one for my school library where I work, so I can read it some day maybe.

  11. I've only read How to Build a Heart from your list, which I loved, but several others are on my TBR. You're right though. I had forgotten about most of these because they haven't gotten much buzz at all. I really want to read What I Like About Me.

  12. I think Sensational by Jodie Lynn Zdrok should have been hyped up a lot more - both books in the duology actually.
