The chaser community is small, and she often crosses paths with Wes who acts impulsively but is extremely talented and successful. When his car suffers damage from a storm, Sloane offers to help him out. She ends up partnering with him as they chase that perfect photo, and along the way, Sloane discovers that there is a lot more to Wes than meets the eye.
I enjoyed this so much! All the weather and photography stuff was very interesting, but it was the couple won my heart. This was technically rivals-to-lovers romance, but this hero was head-over-heels and pining for the heroine the whole time. It was wonderful when Sloane stepped back and took a good look at Wes. When she finally saw how kind he was and the way he did things for her and others. She had so many responsibilities piled on her by her family, and here was a man who just did things for her, the way a partner would. Wes endeared himself to me when he put that "wild" persona on the back burner and let his true self shine through.
Overall: I had a great time chasing storms with these two!

It was the first season following her father's death, and Tally returned home to help with the farm and the festival. She had no idea that the farm was being run by Walker, a grumpy farmer, nor did she know that the farm was in trouble. As hard as it was, she was determined to work with Walker to save her father's legacy.
If we're not saving a bookstore, we are saving a farm. There's something about rallying the troops for a purpose that adds a certain kind of energy to a story, and I loved how that subplot worked in Darling Daffodils Farm. It worked so well because Hope Harbor was one of those quintessential small towns filled with quirky and nosey but well-meaning residents. I fell in love with them all, and it was really lovely the way they cared for each other, the way they wanted to help everyone achieve their hopes and dreams. The strong community element coupled gave a lot of heart to the story while the town group chat added lots of laughs.
But we came here for the romance, and it was a steamy one. Watching Walker fall for Tally was a thing of beauty. He called her wildflower and that was a perfect way to describe her. She was a force though a largely misunderstood force. I loved seeing them bond, drop their defenses, and grow together. Both Tally and Walker had baggage from their past, and this time together allowed them to realize what they really wanted and do it with someone who understood their needs.
Overall: I absolutely fell in love with Hope Harbor, and I cannot wait to visit again.
