April Showers!
Happy Tuesday! Today, we are taking on rainy days. I actually love rainy days if I don't have to be out and about in it. I love the sound of the rain hitting the roof, the window as well as the fresh smell. I suppose, I would want to read something warm and cozy, but I want to read warm and cozy stories all the time. I decided to feature books I read with covers that gave rainy day vibes.
- The Rainfall Market by You Yeong-Gwang
- The Story of Arthur Truluv by Elizabeth Berg
- How Freaking Romantic by Emily Harding
- Funny Feelings by Tarah DeWitt
- This Time It's Real by Ann Liang
- June, Reimagined by Rebekah Crane
- Weather Girl by Rachel Lynn Solomon
- How Not to Fall in Love by Jacqueline Firkins
- First & Then by Emma Mills
- The Garden of Small Beginnings by Abbi Waxman

I'm a fan of rain and rainy days. Something about that gives you certain vibe. I haven't read any of these but I like these covers. I used to look for books with umbrellas on the covers.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
I don't think I ever looked for umbrellas on covers, but they seemed to find me. *high five* to another rainy day lover
DeleteIt's been quite rainy here in South Texas the last week. And I've been perfectly okay with that as I planted a new flowerbed in my backyard. The plants are sooooo happy with all the rain!
ReplyDeleteAs for what I read, it's really the same as I always do, mostly thrillers. But I will say that rainy days usually mean I'm a more productive reader than usual.
We have not had a lot of rain, but it is great for your flowers. Thrillers can be interesting if it's rainy and dreary. That's a mood
DeleteGreat covers. I like rainy days too.
ReplyDeleteRainy days get a bad rap
DeleteThese are such pretty covers! I love a rainy day, too!
ReplyDeleteLook at all these rainy day lovers
DeletePurely on the cover Funny Feeling has my vote!
ReplyDeleteIt was a good book. I am a fan of DeWitt
DeleteI love rainy days when I don't have to go out into it, too! I loved The Weather Girl!
ReplyDeleteThat is my qualifier for snowy days too
DeleteI love the rain, especially when I'm watching it from inside, but I also like just stepping out into it and enjoying the sight, smell, and sound of it.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
I am good with all weather when I am inside, unless it knocks my power out.
DeleteOn rainy days I tend to curl up and want to read something cozy. Either a cozy mystery or a sweet romance. Nice covers, Sam. I've read 3 of these.
ReplyDeleteExactly. Something that will make me warm and fuzzy.
