Two bets, one mistletoe, and a whole lot of holiday chaos—let Battle of the Sexes begin.

Coming back to my hometown wasn’t part of my Christmas game plan. Neither was coaching my old high school’s hockey team or crossing paths with Colette McAllister, the Ice Queen of Brooking Sound. Back in high school, she was my biggest crush—and my brother’s biggest fan. Now, she’s all sharp glares, sarcastic quips, and a refusal to admit how much fun she’s having making my life miserable.

But when my buddy Tucker bets I can’t get Colette to go on a date and kiss me under the mistletoe by Christmas Eve, I can’t resist. This is my shot to finally score with her—and maybe defrost her frosty exterior. Except… she has a plan of her own.

If Hendrix O’Malley thinks he’s sticking around until Christmas, he’s got another thing coming. I’ve got a bet of my own—one that involves getting him out of town before the holiday lights come down.

So, I’ve got my playbook ready. Loud carolers in the ice rink? Check. Leave him stranded? Done.

But somewhere between our snowball fights and a few too many times in close quarters, I realize I might be losing more than just this bet. Because Hendrix isn’t the cocky class clown I remember. He’s sweeter than a Christmas cookie, and suddenly, I’m the one at risk of falling hard.

🎄 Battle of the Sexes
🎄 Snowed In
🎄 Small-Town Shenanigans
🎄 One Bed
🎄 He bets he can woo her
🎄 She bets she can make him leave
🎄 Snowball fights
🎄 Accidental mistletoe smooches
🎄 He falls first

Cross Check Christmas is the perfect blend of holiday cheer, laugh-out-loud antics, and swoon-worthy romance. Grab your cocoa and dive in!

Hendrix needed to lie low while his contact negotiations played out, so he accepted a temporary coaching position at his hometown high school. Back in the presence of his high school crush, Hendrix resorts to the same antics from high school which never won Colette over. But he's grown, and maybe this time, he can finally win her heart.

I needed some laughter and cheer, and Cross Check Christmas delivered.

This was such a great rom-com with the prank war and all the other shenanigans, I was laughing loudly and often. I loved how awkward Hendrix could be around Collette, and how he pined for her for so long. Their budding friendship was not without bumps in the road, but I really enjoyed watching it develop and cheering for a love match.

Overall, this was a super fun and festive story that left me with a huge smile on my face.

Secret or Shutout

A 6'5 NHL goalie walks into a bar and meets the love of his life...no, this isn't the start of a bad joke.

I had a chance encounter in a dimly lit bar that led to an earth-shattering kiss with a beautiful stranger.

But then the next morning my world is rocked again--when I walk inside my team captain's house and see her.

Farrah Remington isn't a mysterious stranger after all, she's the little sister of my captain and best friend. A woman firmly off limits to anyone on the D.C. Eagles.

Now, I have to pretend that kiss never happened. But the more I see Farrah, the hotter our chemistry burns, and the stronger our connection grows--until we can't resist each other any longer.

Sneaking around isn't ideal, but what my team captain doesn't know won't hurt him (or piss him off in the middle of the Stanley Cup playoffs).

I'm with my dream girl and my team is sailing through playoffs...until the truth comes out.

Now my team captain hates me, I can't keep pucks out of my net to save my life, and the woman I love won't speak to me.

Can I save my relationship, my friendship, and enough goals to help the D.C. Eagles finally win the Cup...or will I get shut out of Farrah's life forever?

Secret or Shutout is a dual POV, fade-to-black romance that can be read as a stand alone. This work of fiction contains mild language, depictions of PCOS, infertility, and divorce. If you are sensitive to these subjects, please use this content warning to make an informed decision about reading this book.

It was one night, one kiss. They never thought they would see each other again, but their worlds were more intertwined than they realized. Could Bruce date his teammate's sister or should they just keep it a secret?

I adore this series, and I have to say, I was excited to get Bruce's story. He has that great cinnamon roll energy, and I wanted everyone to finally take him seriously. His heart was HUGE, and if you were lucky to be part of his circle, he would shower you with kindness and loyalty.

Farrah was initially sad about the demise of her marriage, but as she looked back and compared her ex to Bruce, she realized it was a rather toxic situation. Bruce loved her as-is, and that is exactly who Farrah needed and deserved. I was thrilled that they found each other again after that night of anonymous kissing because they were perfect together.
