Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
I am combining CWW with Books From the Backlog hosted by Carole at Carole's Random Life in Books. This will allow me to feature some newly "rediscovered" books, which I plan on reading, alongside a new release.

Bel’s joined the tiny Manchester office of a national paper from her indie podcast.
Thirty-something Connor is going to back to the start as the new intern.
The latest office news? They can’t stand each other.
So of course Bel bumps into Connor when she’s working undercover on the biggest scoop of her career. And of course she’s forced to improvise, pretending they’re a couple. A couple deeply in love.
Two rivals. One fake romance. The headline writes itself…
I have enjoyed this author's books in the past, and this is a fun concept. An undercover reporter ends up in a fake relationship when her office enemy accidentally enters the scene. I can already hear the laugh track. Though hate-to-love is not my favorite trope, it is one I enjoy when it is done right. I have high hopes here.

"I never thought I'd get a second chance at a first time with you."
Firefighter Logan Knight thinks it's fate when he meets Arabella Tucker again, nine years after their brief, intense relationship ended. Until he realizes that Bella doesn't recognize him and all of their memories together are completely erased from her memory.
Bella may be oblivious to their history but she can’t deny their scorching chemistry and the possibility of a future with the mystery man from her past. Logan wants a future too, but he can’t go there until Bella knows everything they shared. Her parents, though, want to protect her from the emotional cost of old memories and so Logan is reluctantly persuaded to let the past lie.
But when Bella starts to uncover the truth, she is shocked by the revelations. Can she move beyond the hurt of her shared history with Logan and begin their new story?
I don't remember if I bought this or if it was a free download, but I have had this book on my kindle for a while. Again, this is an author I have read and enjoyed in the past. I have read quite a few of her rugby sports romances, so this is a bit of a change, but I know Andrews can deliver a solid romance that will allow me to escape for a bit.
