Sundays with Sam - The Sunday Post

Sundays with Sam is a combination of Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

My Week in Review

Happy Sunday on this last day of May! Can you believe tomorrow is June? The year is flying.

I had a short work week - Monday holiday, Friday vacation day, and yet, I wasted so much time. I told people I do this. I really need to make lists to keep me on track. One of the things I wasted time on was the great Carousel of Progress debate.  I love this attraction. It's one I went on every time I visited Walt Disney World (which is 75+ times). The proposed update makes me feel quite old. It will feature the 80s and 2000s, two eras I experienced first hand. Not sure how I feel, but I hope they don't mess this up. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

Stacking the Shelves

A small haul this week. Summerland Cove looked interesting, but I got the invite with less than a week before publication, so I won't be downloading the ARC. I will keep an eye out at my library for it though. I will definitely download Something About September since it was already on my TBR. Love the cover, and I feel it's a good fit for me.

Read Last Week

This was a decent week. I suppose my disappointment lies in that I expected some of these books to wow me more. Sampson didn't let me down! I had a rollicking time reading Most Ardently Yours. It was a time-traveling (?) romance where the heroine manifests Mr. Darcy. Out of the book and into real life. It had all the fun fish-out-of-water stuff, but there was also a bit of twist which I really enjoyed.
