My Winter TBR!


BUT! At least I have lots of January, February, and March releases to read. And let me tell you, there are SO MANY books being released in the first quarter of the year, that I want to read. This list is a mix of books, which I own, will definitely read, and am very excited about.

    1. I just realized - that's a lot of perfect there. Barnard is so wonderful! I am really excited to read more her books. I hope they all get US releases.

  5. I am so excited to read the new Kasie West book! I am a sucker for all the contemporaries and I can't wait to read it. I hope that you enjoy all of the books you have chosen. :)

  6. All of these are new to me. Where have I been? LOL I have a large stack of winter reads. Some romance, urban fantasy, science fiction and, of course, some horror. LOL

    1. You mix it up well. I think almost every book on my TBR is contemporary. I guess my mix comes from age group.

    1. Kasie West books are so fun and cute. You should try one. I think my favorite was The Distance Between Us, but all (except 1) of her books was 5 stars for me.

  12. Our Year of Maybe was FABULOUS. Like just go read it now and flail with me. Goodbye Perfect looks really good too, that is one I hope to read at some point. Hope you enjoy these!! Also your GIF is very, VERY on point 😂

    1. I think I am reading Maybe next week. I am hearing amazing things. Winter really does suck. I guess I should be grateful that we have been getting a ton of rain, because if it were colder, we would have had foot upon foot of snow.

  14. Comics Will Break Your Heart is one I'm interested in. It looks cute-ish. Also-- Goodbye, Perfect!! I just looked it up and YES!!! I need that one!

    1. I like the whole comic family legacy and the family that stole it all from them with the Romeo and Juliet romance. Barnard's books are so wonderful. I need all her books to be published in the US.

  15. Go Lucy! I couldn't agree more haha. Comics Will Break Your Heart certainly sounds interesting- will have to look closer- and a new Laura Silverman book. I liked her Girl Out of Water.

    1. I think Schultz is rolling over in his grave seeing such things come out of Lucy's mouth, but hey, it's true. I am excited about Comics, and I very interested in seeing what Silverman has in store for us.

  18. I'm so excited about Pretty in Punxsutawney (wow, is that hard to spell)! I just got an ARC of it, and am hoping to read it soon! I haven't read any of Kasie West's most recent releases, but I'm eager to go back and read more of her backlist.

  19. Ohhhh love this list! I hadn't been reading contemporaries lately so I hadn't had any of these on my GR list besides the Kasie West book! I think I'll be adding quite a few :D!

    1. I am a contemporary-ho, and it's pretty much all I read, but I read it on MG, YA, and the adult level. So, I have variety.

    1. I am starting that one later today, and I am really excited. I am hearing so many good things about it. I am going to listen to Solomon's debut as I read it too. Double dose of the author there.

  26. Knowing you, you will be able to fly through all of these books! I have really been enjoying Sara Barnard lately so I am very much looking forward to hearing what you think about that one!! Also, I don't like winter either so I am intending to reading it all away :D

    1. Barnard's books are so lovely. I want them all to be released in the US. Well, it was 61 F our first day of winter here in NJ, which was bizarre, but it was nice to not have to wear a coat for one day.
