I have been trying to get to more of my backlist lately, and I wanted a space to share some of the standouts. Tiny Tidbits are my shorter, quick thoughts on what made these books hits for me.

Can't Wait Wednesday!
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
I am combining CWW with Books From the Backlog hosted by Carole at Carole's Random Life in Books. This will allow me to feature some newly "rediscovered" books, which I plan on reading, alongside a new release.

Five Star Friday: April 2020
On the first Friday of each month, I will share my five-star reads from the previous month. Fingers crossed, I have lots of books to tell you about.
April has been very, very, VERY good to me! I think this is the most 5-star books I have had yet in a single month. Maybe it's the universe trying to atone a bit for our situation. Whatever it is, I am happy to have found all these wonderful books. I read a total of 35 books and had 8 that earned a 5-star rating.

Top Ten Tuesday: Outside YA
Outside YA!
Today, we are supposed to highlight books we don't usually feature. WLABB was started as a YA blog, and I try to stay true to the founding bloggers vision by featuring mostly YA books. But, I do read outside of YA, and I have encountered some real gems, which I want to scream about. Without further ado, here are some brilliant middle grades books I have read, in the recent past, which deserve some of my love.

Top 10 of 2019: Best of the Best
It's the end of the year, and that means BEST OF lists! I find this task difficult, but I enjoy it so much.
Top 10 of 2019 is a hosted by Kimberly Faye Reads and Ginger. Today's topic is...
Best of the Best!
This is such a hard category! I feel like I have had an incredible reading year. So far, I have read 430 books, and 32 earned 5-star ratings from me. Therefore, I have elected to focus on my favorite YA reads from this year.

Top Ten Tuesday: Adulting
I was not feeling this week's TTT topic, so I went off script (again). I tend to talk about YA book all the time, but I actually read quite a few adult books. These are some of the best I have read this year.

Top Ten Tuesday: Highly Anticipating!
Highly Anticipating - YA Releases!
This year has been packed with amazing releases, and there are a TON I am still looking forward to. I like to keep track of these lists, and so far, I have read 9/10 books from my previous YA anticipating post and 6/10 from my adult anticipating post. Today, I will be sharing ten YA releases I am looking forward to reading in the second half of this year. December is sort of slim pickings, but I do have a book, which I will feature in an upcoming Can't Wait Wednesday post.
