Can't Wait Wednesday!
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
I am combining CWW with Books From the Backlog hosted by Carole at Carole's Random Life in Books. This will allow me to feature some newly "rediscovered" books, which I plan on reading, alongside a new release.

Top Ten Tuesday: Waiting and Winning!
Here I am, going off topic again, but I just wasn't feeling this week's topic. Instead, I decided to take a look back at some of my Can't Wait Wednesday (Waiting on Wednesday) picks. This is a meme I adore. It's me making predictions about which books I believe will be winners for me. I also like to think of it as my wish to the universe, that I get my hands on this book, read it, and love it. As I was going back through my CWW picks, I realized I have read most of them, and you know what? Many have rated between 4.5 and 5 stars. It's a testament to how good I am at picking out books for myself.
Without further ado, here are ten of my past CWW picks, which have all been stupendous reads for me. I have read all these in the past year, and provided links to my reviews (if you're interested).

One Old, One New: Chasing the Dream Edition
One Old, One New features two books - one old, one new, which are connected in some way. Today, I am sharing two books, which feature characters chasing their dream. In Unscripted, Zelda is attending a summer camp, where she hopes to hone her improv skills. While Maya is exploring her future as a musician in Jesse's Girl.

Top Ten Tuesday: I'm Seeing Stars
I'm Seeing Stars!
This week, I was challenged to take a look at my TBR, and predict which books would earn 5-stars from me. My goal, when picking books, is for each to potentially be a 5-star read, but I took a critical look, and went for sure things, when I assembled this list.

Top 10 of 2019: Looking Forward to in 2020
It's the end of the year, and that means BEST OF lists! I find this task difficult, but I enjoy it so much.
Top 10 of 2019 is a hosted by Kimberly Faye Reads and Ginger. Today's topic is...
As the queen of my enormous TBR kingdom, I happily added many, many, MANY 2020 releases. Seriously, I have 226 books on my 2020 shelf (21 already read), so this was by no means, an easy task. There are some favorite authors FINALLY releasing new work, after what seems like forever (though it really wasn't). There are some sequels, that I need like air, because the previous book left me in such a state. There are a LOT of new voices I am interested to try. I am sure I will be uttering, "too many books, too little time," at some point this year, but I also hope to stack my read-shelf with a bunch of 5-star books. I opted to keep this one all YA, and plan to do a similar post for my anticipated adult reads at a later date.

Top Ten Tuesday: Free Skate!
This week, we are left up to our own devices, and I wanted to do something that involved winter. While perusing my books, I saw, that I had quite a few, which featured ice skating in some capacity, and therefore, thought it would make a great topic for this week. All books are YA EXCEPT the last two, but I loved them both so much, and had to include them. I will admit, many of these books center around hockey, but there are a few, OK two, which focus on figure skating, and actually, made me want to find more YA books with figure skating characters.

Top Ten Tuesday: By the Numbers
I love a good challenge, and I had fun combing my read shelves looking for book titles featuring numbers. You would think there are numbers everywhere, right? Wrong. I guess I don't read a lot of books with numeric titles, but here are some I throughly enjoyed.
