Top Ten Tuesday - Beach Books

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

Beach Books!

Happy Tuesday! One thing that people in these parts associate with summer is the beach. I live on the coast not too far from "the shore". Alas, I am not a beach person, but I can appreciate the beauty of the ocean. This week we were supposed to feature "beachy" reads. So many possibilites! I could have gone the beach read route (which some of these may fit), but I went literal and picked books that featured a beach setting.

  1. Friends to Lovers by Sally Blakely
  2. Beach House Rules by Kristy Woodson Harvey
  3. The Spirit of Love by Lauren Kate
  4. My Friends by Fredrik Backman
  5. Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry
  1. It's a Love Story by Annabel Monaghan
  2. All Together Now by Matthew Norma
  3. The Love Haters by Katherine Center
  4. 32 Days in May by Betty Corrello
  5. Crash Landing by Annie McQuaid

Any favorite beachy books?

  1. I love the beach. I grew up in California and miss the beach. We have Lake Mead here but it's not the same at all.

    1. The beach is definitely a way of life when you live on the coast. I love a lake though because we always vacations upstate NY.

  2. I love all those covers. I have read 4 of these, but will probably be putting a few others on my TBR shelf. Nice choices, Sam.

  3. Such a fun list! We are not too far from the beach either, and it was a huge part of my childhood!

    1. Though we would take the subway to the beach when I was kid, I have more fond memories of swimming in the lake upstate and the fire hydrant.

  4. I'm not a beach person either, but I need to read that Fredrik Backman book.

    1. It's another masterpiece from him. Warm and emotional. I am feeling the feels just thinking about it.
