Beach Books!
Happy Tuesday! One thing that people in these parts associate with summer is the beach. I live on the coast not too far from "the shore". Alas, I am not a beach person, but I can appreciate the beauty of the ocean. This week we were supposed to feature "beachy" reads. So many possibilites! I could have gone the beach read route (which some of these may fit), but I went literal and picked books that featured a beach setting.
- Friends to Lovers by Sally Blakely
- Beach House Rules by Kristy Woodson Harvey
- The Spirit of Love by Lauren Kate
- My Friends by Fredrik Backman
- Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry
- It's a Love Story by Annabel Monaghan
- All Together Now by Matthew Norma
- The Love Haters by Katherine Center
- 32 Days in May by Betty Corrello
- Crash Landing by Annie McQuaid
Any favorite beachy books?

I love the beach. I grew up in California and miss the beach. We have Lake Mead here but it's not the same at all.
ReplyDeleteThe beach is definitely a way of life when you live on the coast. I love a lake though because we always vacations upstate NY.
DeleteI love all those covers. I have read 4 of these, but will probably be putting a few others on my TBR shelf. Nice choices, Sam.
ReplyDeleteGlad we share some books there. I loved all of these!
DeleteSuch a fun list! We are not too far from the beach either, and it was a huge part of my childhood!
ReplyDeleteThough we would take the subway to the beach when I was kid, I have more fond memories of swimming in the lake upstate and the fire hydrant.
DeleteI'm not a beach person either, but I need to read that Fredrik Backman book.
ReplyDeleteIt's another masterpiece from him. Warm and emotional. I am feeling the feels just thinking about it.
