Book Travels!
Happy Tuesday! I am so in love with this weeks topic! Today, we are featuring books that feature travel. I have serious wanderlust and always adore a good trip book. All books have a possibility of transporting your places, but books that feature trip are guaranteed to take you somewhere. I loved the variety I encountered in the books below. There were road trips, tours, bus trips, cruises, and even holiday themed trips which were all lots of fun. So, here are ten recent books in which the characters embarked on a trip.
- The Poppy Fields by Nikki Erlich
- Never Been Shipped by Alicia Thompson
- Eat Post Like by Emily Arden Wells
- All the Signs by Jessie Rosen
- Work in Progress by Kat Mackenzie
- Wedding Dashers by Heather McBreen
- Scot and Bothered by Alexandra Kiley
- P.S. I Hate You by Lauren Connolly
- Temple of Swoon by Jo Segura
- A Winter Wish by Emily Stone
Read any good books with travel?

I actually haven't read any of these, but I love a good travel book!
ReplyDeleteSame. I don't have the funds to go everywhere I would like, so it's great to tag along on someone else's trip.
DeleteI also love a good trip - in real life and in my books. You gave a lot of options here that I haven't gotten to yet!
ReplyDeleteGlad to bring some new ones to your attention
DeleteThe covers are great too. Looks like a good list.
ReplyDeleteLots of fun covers for sure
DeleteYou did great! I confess that I wasn't inspired by the topic and I came back extremely late from two days of training so I skipped this week!
ReplyDeleteI am drawn to books with travel in them, and these were fun.
DeleteI enjoyed Scot and Bothered, too. P.S. I Love You is one I might like to read someday as well.
ReplyDeletePS was great! Very emotional and funny and I loved all the travel.
DeleteGreat list! I'm sure that I've added quite a few of these to my TBR after reading your reviews for the books so I'm looking forward to reading them :) I do agree, books featuring travel are a great way of slaking that wanderlust (temporarily, at least, lol)!
ReplyDeleteGlad a few caught your eye. I wish I had someone to do short road trips with because there are a lot of nice places to visit that are not too far from me, but until then, I have books.
DeleteI also love book travel, makes me excited about real travel! I have not read any of these, but Poppy Fields is on my MUST read list, and I am absolutely looking up a few of the others that seem like I might enjoy them, so thanks for putting them on my radar!
ReplyDeletePoppy Fields is like Erlick's last book - great characters and lots of ideas to ponder. Their road trip takes them from MO to CA, passing through AZ, NM, KS (maybe somewhere else). It was exciting since some of those states are tough to check off for my reading challenge (LOL)
