The greatest love is the one you never expected to find

Daisy is fed up with being unlucky in love. And since Mayor Kelly declared her beloved flower shop cursed in one of his infamous visions, business has been slow.

Dream Harbor newcomer Elliot has been adjusting to small-town life following his own relationship turmoil. And until now he’s avoided the flower shop at all costs. If the mayor is correct, he doesn’t need any more bad luck in his life.

When he finds himself walking through the door of the Daisy Chain Flower Shop, he doesn’t expect it to be a life-changing moment. But as the petals blossom in the sunlight, might the unluckiest woman in Dream Harbor finally find that love comes when you’re least expecting it?

The Daisy Chain Flower Shop is a cozy romantic mystery with a fake relationship dynamic, a small-town setting and a HEA guaranteed.

Tropes:
Fake relationship
•Found family
•Small town
•He falls first
•Returning favorite characters

They said she was cursed, and it was hurting her business. Then when face to face with her ex and his new fiancee, Daisy impulsively grabbed a nearby man and introduced him as her boyfriend. Caught off guard, Elliot was willing to go along and to continue the rouse until people stopped thinking Daisy was romantically cursed.

This was a fun little romance between two people who were afraid to risk their hearts (for good reasons). It was very sweet seeing them confront their pasts and slowly open their hearts. I really enjoyed the storyline regarding Daisy's great-aunt Daisy. It added a bit of intrigue and mystery to the tale, and Gilmore really won my heart with that amazing epilogue.

Overall: Another great trip to Dream Harbor!

Four friends made a promise to live one night like it was their last.

That night changed everything.

Ten years ago, Mila Ferguson left behind a devastating fire, a stolen kiss, and a shattered circle of friends in her hometown of Hart’s Landing. But when a crisis brings her back, Mila just wants to get in and get out, unscathed by her mother’s constant criticism and unseen by her former crush, Everett McKean.

Only … Everett is everywhere. The town’s attractive, beloved mayor has resisted settling down, but he’s never stopped wondering about Mila. Having her back in Hart’s Landing is the second chance he didn’t know he was waiting for—and he’s not about to waste it.

As Mila slowly opens her heart to Everett and begins to rebuild her fractured friendships, she wonders if coming home was exactly what she needed. But old wounds threaten to open again when questions emerge about what really happened the night Mila left. Who’s really responsible for the fire that destroyed the bakery? And will knowing the truth free Mila from the past, or ignite a blaze that burns down the future she’s trying to build?

People say you can never truly come home again, but sometimes coming home isn’t about where you’ve been. It’s about who you’re brave enough to become.

Sexy, heartfelt, and steeped in small-town charm, Hart’s Landing is a story of forgiveness, friendship, and finding the family who loves you no matter how far you wander.

Mila left Hart's Landing a decade ago after being blamed for a fire. She reluctantly returned to help care for her mother and was counting down the days until she could return to her life in New York. But she never expected there to still be sparks between her and Everett, her former crush, and now she was rethinking her life in Hart's Landing.

I like the premise of this series. There were four friends who made a pact to do something that scared them to honor the fifth member of their group who had passed away from leukemia. But everything went wrong for everyone involved, and their once tight knit group splintered.

This book focused on Mila whose scary thing was to declare her feelings for Everett. Things were going well that night until the bakery went up in flames. The fallout was massive and drove Mila out of town. It was difficult for her to return to Hart's Landing given her reputation and strained relationship with her mother, but Everett made her feel comfortable and safe.

I really enjoyed watching Mila and Everett fall in love. They were good for each other. I actually adored Everett. He had a tough upbringing but came out with his heart in tact. He was a good man who showed his loved and loyalty via his actions which made him perfect for Mila.

It was great meeting everyone else as well. I can already see the books forming in my mind. I look forward to returning to Hart's Landing and catching up with the group and they fall in love and heal together.
