Happy Tuesday! This was such a hard topic! I always find it difficult to pick favorites, and now I am being asked to name favorite authors and my favorite book by them. This is by no means a complete list, but these are authors I have consistently enjoyed over the past few years.

Part of Your World is my favorite Jimenez book!
ReplyDeleteI loved all her books (you tell by the ratings), but there was something about the setting and the side characters that made a big impression on me.
DeleteI love Jill Shalvis, Kristan Higgins and Katherine Center, too. I haven't read that Kristan Higgins, if I remember correctly it was a really sad one and Happiness For Beginners wasn't my favorite from KC, but I loved the film adaptation. I should re-read to see what I think.
ReplyDeleteIt is a sad book, but Higgins found the joy in the healing journey. I ugly cried plenty though. There was something special about Helen rising from the ashes and finding herself and her inner strength. I loved the way they cheered her on, and the romantic subplot worked for me too.
