Top Ten Tuesday - Highs and Lows

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

Highs and Lows!

Happy Tuesday! Carla did a post that featured the highest rated book she read and the lowest rating book she read. I found it interesting and took a look at my own Goodreads read-shelf. I decided to share my five highest rated and five lowest rated from my shelf with you today.

I thought this was a very interesting activity. I noticed that the books I read with the highest ratings on Goodreads were read by A LOT of people. The majority of my highs were young adult fantasy, and well, written by Sarah J. Maas. I would also say these were books I remember, especially The Nightingale

The books towards the bottom of my read shelf were mostly young adult and on the lower side (for me). The only one with a good rating (4 and higher) was the book with THE lowest rating - This Song Is [Not] For You. I do remember the resolution of the love triangle being odd (to me). It may very well be a way the kids do things. I will also say that I don't remember too many details about any of these books (other than the first one) - good or bad.

Highest Average Rating
  1. The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah - ★★★★★, Goodreads 4.65

  4. Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas - ★★★★★, Goodreads 4.62
  5. Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo - ★★★★ 1/2, Goodreads 4.56
