Luck of the Irish!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! I do actually have Irish heritage as my mother's paternal grandparents were from Ireland (Cork, Donegal), and I had the opportunity to visit once (beautiful!), but I wouldn't say we get too into this holiday. My mother used to make corned beef and cabbage, some soda bread, but it has been a while. This week we were supposed to feature books with green covers in honor of the holiday, but I realized I have read quite a few books set in Ireland and thought it would be fun to feature some of those. Below are ten books I enjoyed that took me to the emerald isle.
- Foster by Claire Keegan
- Wedding Dashers by Heather McBreen
- The Other Side of Now by Paige Harbison
- Heart Strings by Ivy Fairbanks
- The Past by Sawyer Bennett
- Off the Map by Trish Doller
- One Night on the Island by Josie Silver
- Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern
- Last Call at the Local by Sarah Grunder Ruiz
- The Upside of Falling Down by Rebekah Crane
Have you ever been to Ireland?
