Top Ten Tuesday - Last Ten Library Loans

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

Last Ten Library Loans!

Happy Tuesday! I don't get physical books any longer, and though I have a LOT of books on my kindle, I wanted to spin this week's topic a bit. I am a big supporter of public libraries. I am lucky to have access to so many books and audiobooks, free of charge, and I take advantage of those privileges often. Last year, 57% of the books I read were borrowed from my library. It's no exaggeration that I value my library and don't know how I could read as many books as I do without those resources.

Below are ten of my most recent borrows. It so happens that I have only finished one of the books below because, as is often the case, a whole bunch of holds came through all at once. I Just finished Always a Bridesmaid and hope to start Good Spirits tomorrow. What is the last book your borrowed from your library?
  1. The Attic on Queen Street by Karen White
  2. Best Wishes from the Full Moon Coffee Shop by Mai Mochizuki
  3. Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow by Victoria Walters
  4. Fun at Parties by Jamie Harrow
  5. Pickle Perfect by Ilana Long
  1. The Best Worst Thing by Lauren Okie
  2. Always a Bridesmaid by Marina Adair
  3. A Kilt for Christmas by Tricia O'Malley
  4. The Correspondent by Virginia Evans
  5. Good Spirits by B.K. Borison

What was your last library loan?

  1. In between the library and the ARCs, you can live the best reader's life LOL. I do buy physical books a lot, even when I've read the ARCs, because I'm a collector and I want to reread them at some point. It just wouldn't be feasible if I weren't so picky with my genres 😅.

Good Spirits sounds like a fun take on/reversal of A Christmas Carol...

    1. Good Spirits was a twist on A Christmas Carol, but the twist was huge. I just finished it this morning. I read A LOT of library books. It's more stressful than ARCs though because of the due dates.

  3. I'm a big library lover and user as well. We have a city library system and a county one where I live. I have library cards for both. Between the two, I can usually get any book I'm looking for. It's great!

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

  4. One of my goals this year was to use my library even more. I currently have 8 books checked out between Henry and me!
