Can't-Wait Wednesday: Two Dark Reigns - Kendare Blake

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week I can't wait for Two Dark Reigns!

Two Dark Reigns
Kendare Blake
Series: Three Dark Crowns, #3
Release Date: September 4, 2018
Publisher: HarperTeen
Waited on by: Sam
#1 New York Times bestselling author Kendare Blake returns with the highly anticipated third book in the Three Dark Crowns series!

Katharine sits on the throne, Mirabella and Arsinoe are in hiding, and an unexpected renegade is about to wage a war of her own. The crown has been won, but these queens are far from done.
I am not a huge fantasy reader, but when this series hit the scene, I just clicked with it. There was just something about the story and the storytelling that I really enjoyed. I love the family drama and all the magic and lore associated with these three queens.

I have to say, this is the most obsessed I have been with a series lately. I have actually invested time in reading novellas for this series, and I am NOT a novella reader. I have to read them though, because I collecting as many clues as possible to support my theories, and I really need my hunches confirmed, and that is why I can't wait to read this book.

What are you waiting on?

  1. I still need to read this series! I've read something by this author before... Antigoddess, I think? Oh, and Anna Dressed in Blood! I remember enjoying them both (still need to finish the rest of the series). It's been awhile since I've been obsessed with a series, so seeing that makes me think I should read it sooner rather than later... <3

    1. You only need to read book 2, which I thought was even better than book 1, by the way. Then you are right on track.

  21. This reminds me that I still need to read the second book! I had mixed feelings about the first one, but I liked it enough to keep reading. I'm glad to hear you've been enjoying the novellas for the series! I'm always a little iffy about novellas tied in with series. Most likely because I already have hard enough time keeping up with the actual books lol
