Still Haven't Read It!

Happy Tuesday! Today we are talking about books we HAD to have but still have not read. I have mentioned before that I am very fortunate and read most of my new releases via library loans. I am going to twist this a bit and talk about books I purchased and maybe even featured on an anticipated list or a Can't Wait Wednesday but still have not read. I went back a few years and was kind of shocked to see some of these book still unread. Many of these are authors I have read many times, but it appears their books feel between the cracks. I will have to fix that.

    Shotgun Lovesongs is the only one I’ve read which I enjoyed as the focus is on male friendships which isn’t too common.

      I read a different book by him and enjoyed it, so I have high hopes for Shotgun Lovesongs. I do like seeing a male friendship take center stage. Definitely not too common.

    For some reason the title Margarettown piqued my interest, and I looked for it on GR. It has a WILD premise (that most of the reviews spoil LOL) and it's very magical-realism coded...

      Zevin writes some interesting stories. I tend to not read reviews until AFTER I read a book. I hate spoilers and even trade reviews reveal things I think they shouldn't

    It's easy for books to fall between the cracks when there are SO many good ones out there to read and SO little time to get to ALL of them!
