Working for a Living!
Happy Tuesday! Today we are showcasing books that feature an occupation on the title. This was harder than I expected! I had to go back further on my read-shelf than I normally do to find ten books that fit this prompt. It took some digging, but I think I found a few interesting professions among my read books.
- The Bookstore Keepers by Alice Hoffman
- Mr. Nice Spy by Tiana Smith
- The Scent Keeper by Erica Bauermeister
- The Housekeeper and the Professor by Yōko Ogawa
- Happy Medium by Sarah Adler
- The Fellowship of Puzzlemakers by Samuel Burr
- The Kamogawa Food Detectives by Hisashi Kashiwai
- The Au Pair Affair by Tessa Bailey
- Maid for Each Other by Lynn Painter
- The Funeral Ladies of Ellerie County by Claire Swinarski

I did think this would be a tough prompt and skipped it because I didn't have the time to hunt. You did great finding titles!
ReplyDeleteI just scroll through my read shelf, but I had to go back three years. I don't normally have to work that hard.
DeleteEven though it was harder than you thought, you did good.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary!
DeleteYou did great, Sam. I haven't seen housekeeper or medium on any posts today. Puzzle Maker is another good one.
ReplyDeleteDang! Well done with the puzzle maker! I should have gone for that one too Sam!
ReplyDeleteIt's a cool job
DeleteOoh, tough one! I love the diversity you found.
ReplyDeleteI had to dig deep for it.
DeleteNice list! You found some unique ones.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
I was happy to find more interesting jobs, but I suppose those would be more interesting to write about
