Eagerly Anticipating!
It's a new year with lots of new releases coming our way. Today, I am sharing some of those books I really, really want to read. I decided to only feature titles I do NOT yet have or have been rejected for. So, these are some real hopes and dreams here. These are a mix of adult and YA books releasing in the first half of this year. I really was lucky with my January ARCs, so there's nothing that I am chomping at the bit to read, so I will be starting with February releases.
- Destination Anywhere by Sara Barnard - February 23rd
- First Comes Like by Alisha Rai - February 16th
- Prom Theory by Ann LaBar - March 30th
- The Dating Plan by Sara Desai - March 16th
- Everyone Dies Famous in a Small Town by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock - April 20th
- Hana Kahn Carries On by Uzma Jalaluddin - April 13th
- Tremendous Things by Susin Nielsen - May 25th
- People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry - May 6th
- Donuts and Other Proclamations of Love by Jared Reck - June 8th
- Fierce as the Wind by Tara Wilson Redd - June 22nd
What titles are you looking forward to?

You know, I haven't really looked at a lot of new books for the year just yet, so these posts are really helping me build my TBR list!
ReplyDeleteMy 2021 shelf started like a year ago. My TBR is never ending
DeleteOoh i love the sound of Everyone Dies Famous In A Small Town. the idea of stories set in small towns like that out West. Will definitely pick that up. Destination anywhere looks good too...
ReplyDeleteHitchcock's last book was so good. I have really high hopes for it, and I love all that is Sara Barnard
DeleteTremendous Things has a wild cover haha! And oddly, Hana Khan is very minimalist instead.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll love all of them!
I wonder if that is the final cover for Hana Khan? I love Tremendous Things though. Nielsen's books are always quirky in a good way
DeletePeople We Meet on Vacation sounds like it's going to be a great read!
ReplyDeleteI have really high hopes for that one. I really have enjoyed Henry's books.
DeleteI love that dinosaur cover! I’m looking forward to the Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock book too. I hope it’s as good as her first one.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Has me really wondering about the book. The Smell of Other People's Houses was fantastic! I really feel it's grossly underrated.
DeleteThe cover for Tremendous Things is amazing! XD I hope you love all of these!
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be quite the crowd pleaser. I hope I am able to get access to them all!
DeleteThe Dating Plan looks cute. The author's name looks familiar. I'm know I haven't read anything from her but I'm sure I've seen her name before.
ReplyDeleteThe first book in the series was the Marriage Plan (hilarious!), and she wrote books as Sarah Castille.
DeleteThe Dating Plan has caught my eye. I love fake relationships!
ReplyDeleteHappy readings!
Tânia @MyLovelySecret
I really liked the first book and am excited this character is getting a book
DeleteI want to read Everyone Dies Famous in a Small Town just for the title alone. It's brilliant! I hope you get to read and love all of these.
ReplyDeleteThe author's last book, The Smell of Other People's Houses, was amazing. I guess she does have interesting titles.
DeleteIf I had done a top 11 instead of a top 10 today, then The Dating Plan would have probably made my list. So excited for it!!
ReplyDeleteIt was hard to pick. So many good books coming out, but I know I will read that one. I loved The Marriage Game
DeleteIt was hard for me to pick, too! Definitely a lot coming out that I'm looking forward to. And yes, The Marriage Game was so good! Lots of laughs!
DeleteI'm not worried, because I do Can't Wait Wednesday every week. I can spread the love
DeleteEmily Henry is on my list too but dang, I forgot Sara Barnard Sam!!!! Great list and...I am sure I'll end up reading some of these as you usually are VERY convincing LOL
ReplyDeleteBarnard's books were all so wonderful. I am very excited to read her new one.
DeleteI haven't heard of most of these, so I'm definitely going to have to take a closer look at some of them. I love the DONUT cover (also donuts)!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Reck's last book left me a puddle, so obviously, I need to read the donut book
DeleteThese all sound so good. The Dating Plan was my January Book of the Month pick so I'm really excited to get my hands on that one soon.
ReplyDeleteIf it's as funny as the first one, it will be fabulous! Hope you love it
DeleteI am SO excited for Everyone Dies Famous in a Small Town (also why does Bonnie-Sue have the BEST book titles ever? Like, genius!) I also definitely want to read People We Meet on Vacation, too! Hope you get to read these soon, and that you love them!
ReplyDeleteHer titles really are fantastic. I know my library will get the Henry book, but not sure about Hitchcock. I can hope.
DeleteI'm looking forward to People We Meet on Vacation, too as I loved Beach Read. Hope we both love it!
ReplyDeleteI have always enjoyed all Henry's books, so I feel good about it
DeleteI really need to get my hands on Everyone Dies Famous in a Small Town since I loved The Smell of Other People's Houses.
ReplyDeleteSame, Carole, same.
DeletePeople We Meet on Vacation sounds so adorable and it seems like a few early readers love it too. Here's hoping we both enjoy it *fingers crossed*.
ReplyDeleteJen @ Star-Crossed Book Blog
I have enjoyed all Henry's books, so I don't doubt it's great.
DeleteCan't wait for Henry's, and I've been seeing lots of buzz for The Dating Plan. I hope you're able to snag some of these!
ReplyDeleteThe companion to the Dating Plan was so fun. I am hoping for more of that. I have honestly enjoyed all of Henry's books, so I am sure this one will be a hit too. Hope we both read and love it!
DeleteThat Donuts title totally cracks me up!! :-)
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
So many ways to show love. lol
DeleteI like the sound of The Dating Plan!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to read all of these at some point this year. :)
I am hoping the book is as much fun as the last book in the series.
