This is my official declaration of the books I am sworn to read this fall. The end of the year is always interesting, reading-wise, because not as many books are published, which gives me a lot of freedom in terms of what I will read. However, I tend to fly by the seat of my pants, when it comes to my "free" books, and never know what I will be picking up.
I am certain, that I will be reading my November and December review books, though. Below are a mix of the YA and adult books I have on my "to review" spreadsheet. I am very excited about all then of these, and cannot wait to read them!
- Lifestyles of Gods and Monsters by Emily Roberson
- A Constellation of Roses by Miranda Asebedo
- Sick Kids in Love by Hannah Moskowitz
- Crying Laughing by Lance Rubin
- Hearts, Strings, and Other Breakable Things by Jacqueline Firkins
- Christmas Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
- Blitzed by Alexa Martin
- We Met in December by Rosie Curtis
- The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams
- Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert

These are some fantastic choices, Sam. I am interested to read Sick Kids in Love too. Adding the rest of these to my TBR..but don't know when I'll get actual time to read those :P
ReplyDeleteThese are the books I KNOW I will read. I hope you get to all the ones on your fall TBR. Sick Kids is even more alluring, because it is stated, up front, that no one dies. That makes me feel better.
DeleteOh this is a great list. I'd never heard of Heart, Strings, and Other Breakable Things before! So many great books out this fall!

I am all about the fluffy contemporary romances, and Hearts, Strings, and Other Breakable Things sounds like it will fit the bill. I am excited about it.
DeleteBlitzed and The Bromance Book Club are on my list, too. :) I have such high hopes for TBBC. And I am so sold on Alexa Martin at this point that I'm sure I'll love Blitzed.
ReplyDeleteBromance has been getting tons of good buzz and I love the concept. Martin's books have all been solid reads for me, and I am excited to get Brynn's story.
DeleteGreat choices!

I want them all and then some
Deleteoh I like how Lifestyles of Gods and Monsters b sounds! Hope you love it Sam!
ReplyDeleteI was on the fence about Lifestyles, but then I kept seeing reviewers calling it fun, and that's my catnip.
DeleteI have been very tempted by The Bromance Book Club but I haven't decided on it yet. I hope you love all of these, Sam!
ReplyDeleteThat book is getting so much good buzz, and the rom-coms have been great for me. I'm excited
Deletegreat looking list. love the crying laughing cover

Rubin wrote Denton Little's Death Date, which was excellent, and this one sounds really promising too.
DeleteAh this is a lovely TBR! I can't wait to read Sick Kids In Love, as well as Get A Life Chloe Brown, both sound great. I hope you'll love all of these :)
ReplyDeleteI have such a soft spot to sick kids, and even better, they are in love and the author says NO ONE dies!!!
DeleteI have The Bromance Book Club and Chloe Brown coming up. I'm a big Talia Hibbert fan so I have high hopes for that one.
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
I have never read anything by Hibbert, but I have seen many people rave about her books. I am eager to read one of her books.
DeleteOoh nice! These are all new to me ones! I hope you enjoy them all this fall!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Thanks!
DeleteCrying Laughing is one I think looks good, and it seems like I've heard good things about Hannah Moskowitz as well.
ReplyDeleteI have read two of Rubin's books, and they were fabulous. I have high hopes for Crying Laughing.
DeleteSo many pretty covers. Most of these are new to me. What a great list!
ReplyDeleteYou know me, all about the covers.
DeleteYay to Christmas Shopaholic! I've seen The Bromance Book Club on so many lists this week!
ReplyDeleteSophie Kinsella is always a good idea, if you ask me, and I am excited to catch up with Becky
DeleteBromance made my list this week too!
ReplyDeleteI think it's going to be so much fun!
DeleteA couple of these look good towards Christmas time. I hope you enjoy these.
ReplyDeleteI have so many books I want to read coming out this fall. I've had a really difficult time scheduling all my ARCs before the due date (3 ARCs for October 3rd alone plus three books I pre-ordered for that date), 2 books come out the week after that, and I have three ARCs for November 5th and another pre-order for that date. It's going to be crazy for about a month!
I hope you get to all those books and they are all hits for you!
DeleteA Constellation of Roses is one I've been interested in but haven't had a chance to get to yet! I hope you enjoy all of these!
ReplyDeleteI liked the author's debut, and am interested in the premise. I think it will be good for me.
DeleteLast week I compiling a ton of Christmas/Holiday-related books I wanna read and I completely forgot about We Met in December until now.
ReplyDeleteI don't read a ton of holiday books, but I could not resist catching up with Becky.
DeleteI read The Bromance Book Club and loved it. I hope you do, too! Good luck sticking to your list.
ReplyDeleteYeah! I am glad to hear you enjoyed it. I think it will be a hit for me.
DeleteI love that you are taking an oath Sam!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been reading all my Books from the Backlog books. This accountability thing is helping me stick to my lists.
DeleteI love that you keep track of your review copies by a spreadsheet! I love my spreadsheets but reading/blogging is pretty much the only spreadsheet free area of my life... Although it could use one!
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of Get A Life, Chloe Brown. Talia Hibbert is an author I follow on twitter and I love her banter so I'm curious about her books. Can't wait to see what you think!
P.S - I can't believe Kinsella's shopaholic series is still going! I think I lost the plot around shopaholic and baby...
I read a LOT and get a lot of ARCs, the spreadsheet helps me keep track. I can chart and look at my reading habits too. I really want the kid to make a sheet for me, because she is in analytics, and really knows how to leverage a spreadsheet. I have never read a Hibbert book, but I am excited about my first one. I will read Becky books forever! I love Kinsella in general, and I am so far into Becky's life, I never tire of her.
DeleteI'm really curious about Sick Kids in Love and The Bromance Book Club. Hopefully they are good reads - along with these others!

They really sound like something I would enjoy, and I have been seeing lots of raves for Bromance. Hopefully, it's good, because I think it's going to be a series.
DeleteSick Kids Love and The Bromance Book Club are the only ones on this list that I have heard of before, so I will be anticipating your reviews! It's turning to spring here so I will be reading more contemporaries. I want to get to The Sun is Also a Star and When Dimple Met Rishi!
ReplyDeleteI loved both of Yoon's books, and the ending to TSIAaS fit so well with the idea of chance and fate, that Yoon wove throughout the story. WDMR holds a dear place in my heart. It was just one of the most smile inducing books I have read. Pick that up, when you want to feel a blast of joy.
