How was your week?
Let us know in the comments!
I've never been to a Disney park - and now, I'm afraid of heights, so I won't be going any time soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll enjoy your new books - and that next week will be wonderful.
Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookworms
We don't do any of the thrill rides. My 23 year old daughter's favorite ride is It's a Small World.
DeleteKeep on having a great time!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Road the pandora ride. Mission accomplished
DeleteOooh you are staying at Disney? Have fun! And I can't wait to read your review of Mammoth! Sophie @bewareofthereader
ReplyDeleteOn my way home today. The last day of vacation is always so tragic!
DeleteJEALOUS of your Disney trip, but I am glad you are having a good time despite the heat. Florida is hot as balls and I definitely felt like a hot mess when I visited too. But it's so much fun!
ReplyDeleteIt was just like being here in the summer - hot and really crowded, but we did get to do and see everything we wanted.
DeleteI'm starting my ARC of Mammoth today for review. It sounds amazing and I was so happy to be granted a review copy. What's been your favorite thing about Disney so far?
ReplyDeleteI will probably be starting this evening, because I should finish my book on the plane. I guess I forgot how hot and crowded it gets at WDW since I was last here 4 years ago, but it's still magical.
DeleteHave a blast! I hope to one day visit Disney.
ReplyDeleteWe used to live down here, so we went often, but it has been 4 years. It was nice to spend my birthday with my daughter and extra fun, because it was in Disney.
DeleteI would love to visit Disney. I'm so happy you're having such a great time. Keep having lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new books, Sam. Happy readings! ;)
Tânia @MyLovelySecret
It was fun. I am tired though, and glad to have tomorrow off to recuperate.
DeleteEnjoy your trip! I’m pretty sure The Thing With Feathers is on my TBR list. That cover looks familiar. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I like Hoyle's books. They have just enough drama, but are sweet and heartwarming too. I liked it.
DeleteI had Dating You, Hating You in my hand the other day. I have to get that one. Looks like a great lineup this week. Have a wonderful trip! I love Disney!
ReplyDeleteMary
I snagged that one, when I saw it was on sale. I heard good things, and will probably read it when I read my Half Night Stand ARC.
DeleteSo jealous, I love Disney!! Have a great trip!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun. I wish it had been cooler, but we had a good time.
DeleteHappy Blated birthday :D you sound like you having a lot of fun. disney park is hot D: I went to the one in florida during one summer and oh my gosh
ReplyDeleteThank you! I was hoping it would have been cooler in Oct, but it was still 90-ish. We are going to Canada next year. Hopefully, the weather will be cool.
DeleteWe love the parks. When we lived in Florida we had annual passes to every dang one. Enjoy an Happy Birthday to you!
ReplyDeleteWe lived here for 6 years, and went 10 times a year. It's such an exhausting trip though. I am grateful for the day off tomorrow.
DeleteSo many tempting books, none of which I've read. Adding some to my list.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I had an abbreviated, but great reading week.
DeleteI’ve never been to Disney Land or World. Doing so in the heat probably isn’t the best but I'm sure you still had fun.
ReplyDeleteWe have been to World over 70 times, Cali and Paris once. Our bucket list is go to all the parks, but Asia is so expensive.
DeleteGlad you're having fun at Disney World. I'm really curious about Social Intercourse!

I missed the release for Social Intercourse, but I still want to read it, and since I am through all my Oct books, I thought I could definitely fit it in.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed Disney World! Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteDisney is always a good time. Thanks!
DeleteDisney is awesome! Everyone is hot and sweaty there because its Florida! Hope you like One Perfect Kiss. I am getting ready to listen to the audiobook!
ReplyDeleteI remember there being a few cooler months when I lived down here, but apparently October is not one of them. I like the Hope series. It's an interesting departure from the Play-by-Play series and I am all about small town romances.
DeleteI really enjoyed The Anatomical Shape of a Heart. Jenn Bennett always delivers! I really want to read that Christina Lauren book. It is now my goal to read all of their books, haha. I'll be reading One Day in December for the HoHoHo Readathon and already requested a copy from my library.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you've had a wonderful week!
Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear?
Bennett has yet to disappoint me. She always has these great elements in her books. One Day in December was so good!!! I hope you like it.
DeleteOoh hope you're having fun at Disney! Sounds like you are. They're the best place top be, really. :)
ReplyDeleteOne Day iun December sounds great, and so does anatomical shape- I ned to read Jenn Bennett at some point.
Bennett's books are great. I am going to start her paranormal books soon. They are adult, but I have heard great things.
DeleteI can relate to the sweatfest. lol I try to find water rides for a cooldown.
ReplyDeletesherry @ fundinmental Sunday Memes
I think it's worst, because I am just so over the summer and the heat, but Disney is fun.
DeleteHope you're having a fantastic time, even if you are melting!
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
It was fun. I mean, it's Disney.
DeleteHope you had a fantastic time at Disney, Sam! Hopefully you’ll share some stories or pics? :)
ReplyDeleteI’m so bummed that I didn’t have a chance to read (One Day in December) at all this weekend! It was a super busy weekend and I just never had a chance to sit down and read. *sobs* But I sure am loving what I’ve read so far! Laurie and Jack kissed!!!! I was swooning all over the place. But now she’s about to leave for Thailand? Gah!
Disney was fun, hot and crowded, but still fun. I loved the part in Thailand, and what transpired after it, and like I said, I was up and down emotionally. I was happy with where their lives took them, even though I wanted them to also be together. The ending is worth all the frustration.
DeleteNow I just want to go home and reeeeeaaaad! Hee hee.
DeleteI had a big cry before Thailand and a bit after Thailand. I was just really entrenched in their lives.
DeleteWell I managed just a few more pages last night. She's back from Thailand and meeting Oliver's mother for the first time. Yikes. I don't see this going well.
DeleteHis mom was terrible, and this whole portion was tough for me.
DeleteI requested and received One Day in December based no your recommendation. I am lookin forward to a nice holiday read. I also love Jenn Bennett. She writes some amazing YA. I just got her latest, and I am hoping I love it as much as the others. Hope you are enjoying your vacation!
ReplyDeleteIf you liked Love, Rosie, you should enjoy it. So. Many. Emotions. At least for me.
DeleteI hope you had a fantastic time at Disney! And yay for another great read from Jenn Bennett. I need to read that one as well. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteBennett is awesome. I hope she keeps writing her fabulous YA books, because I want to read them forever.
DeleteGlad you had fun at Disney, despite the heat!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard not to enjoy the "magic" of the parks.
DeleteI hope you had a great time at Disney with your daughter! We went as a family just a few years ago and had fun. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun, but exhausting, and my feet are killing me. Sad to part with my daughter at the airport, but at least we have the holidays coming up.
DeleteYay I am glad you are having fun in Disney World! I can imagine that it must be hot and a lot of walking around when it comes to a theme park. So I hope you keep loving it. Best way to enjoy a holiday and birthday. Also, I am so happy you read and loved The Anatomical Shape of a Heart as well ^.^
ReplyDeleteIt was hot and crowded, but we got on all the rides we wanted to ride. Next year we are doing a Canadian cruise though. It definitely should not be hot.
DeleteI have wanted to read The Thing with Feathers for a while now. I'll have to see if the library has it. I have Mammoth, too, and I'm looking forward to reading it. 📚
ReplyDeleteI had read Hoyle's most recent book, and loved it. So, when I saw this on Hoopla, I had to give it a listen, and I really enjoyed it. I just finished Mammoth, and I liked it. You don't read a lot of YA with paleo-loving girls in them.
DeleteGlad to know that you are having fun in Disney-world. and wow, you have so many good books on your stack. So many of these are on my TBR too.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading :)
FL was hot, but Disney is magical nonetheless.
DeleteGlad to hear you're having fun at Disney! My timeline feed has been full of pictures of our holiday there in 2012 and I know in the coming weeks it will be full of pictures of last years holiday there! It just makes me desperate to go back!
ReplyDeleteFun! We were there 4 years ago, so not too long ago, but we have decided if we do a Disney park again, we would go back to Cali. Next year, we are doing the Disney halloween cruise. We both hate the heat, and it was hot the whole week we were there.
